Sonitus ex Machina
Sonitus ex MachinaKinetic ceramic sculpture.  Sonic sculpture.  Psychoacoustic auditory phenomena. All of the above.

The circular form on the top left is a unique rain chime (like a neverending rain stick).

The spiral form on the bottom left is a Conchundo.

The shapes at center bottom, are actual working gears.

The two whistles on the right bottom are binaural whistles, which play a slightly different frequency in each ear when you blow into it, causing binaural beats.

The wheel on the top right side spins and creates a Moire optical illusion.

The chain and levers horizontal across the center are movable kinetic pieces.

All parts, with exception of four small metal hooks, are earthenware clay.
