Robert Villamagna: Assemblage and Mixed Media.  Without whom, I may have become a chemist.

Stephen Wright: Wright Hand Drum Company.  Check out the Gunta-- best ceramic hand drum ever; that's my opinion as a ceramics artist and as a drummer.

David Gilhooly: Funk Ceramics, etc.  Great artist who has been nice enough to critique some of my work from time to time.

Larry Kagan: Sculpture in Steel and Shadow. "In a way, they're not really drawing about shadow; they're really about encrypting form and information..." Yeah, I can dig it.

Arthur Ganson: Kinetic Wire and Found Object Sculpture. Strangely poetic machines.

Barry Hall: Ceramic Musical Instruments. Master of all that is ceramic and musical.

And Barry Hall's book: From Mud to Music.  The best book of all time.  Not that I'm impartial.  My work is in it.  Buy it.

David Camden: Camden Clayworks.  Raku and high fire pottery
